Each year, a large amount of funds donated by private sponsors
is destined to finance new recording projects !
Orpheus' team assiduously receives new recording proposals and studies each one in great detail.
If you have a defined project that you wish to release and you are interested in sending us your proposal, we invite you to submit the application form (below), or to send us an email: info@orpheusclassical.com
You can send us your audio files, or you can choose to record your album with our sound engineers.
New albums can be released in two different ways:
OPTION A: DIGITAL ALBUM
The album will be distributed in all the major platforms of digital distribution (Spotify, Itunes, Deezer, Rhapsody, Yandex, etc.).
This first option is fast and straightforward: the release can be in all the main digital platforms in a few weeks.
It is also the most flexible option: you can release a full album (between 45 and 75min), or just a single theme! You are very free to decide the content of your release.
Option A also includes the graphic design for the album's cover, and the legal matters to obtain the ISRC codes, EAN/UPC, recording rights, etc.
According to recent surveys, over 75% of classical music lovers listen to new releases through the digital platforms in current times.
OPTION B: PHYSICAL CD
The CD will be distributed physically, but also in all the major platforms of digital distribution (Spotify, Itunes, Deezer, Rhapsody, Yandex, etc.).
A physical release starts at 1.000 CDs. You can send us an already-finished Master CD, or record the project with our sound engineers in our music venues (with Bösendorfer and Steinway grand pianos).
You will be the unique owner of the Master CD. As such, you can own the number of CDs that you decide for your own purposes, and decide to distribute the rest through our distribution channels.
Option B also includes the design of all the graphic materials, and the legal matters to obtain the ISRC codes, EAN/UPC, recording rights, etc.
When creating your submission for Option B, please bear in mind that the following are the most appropriate subjects (suggested duration: between 45 and 75 minutes):
- Monographic projects around one or two composers
- Albums particularly innovative and creative (contemporary music, new creation, etc.)
- Projects that comprise works of different composers belonging to the same style or geographical context
- Albums that group pieces of different styles and composers, but suggest a specific conceptual idea (for example, descriptive music, light, darkness, nationalism, etc. ).
